XC#1 - May 10 - Eagle Mountain
All racers at the Eagle Mountain XC #1 will be racing with a MASS START format this year! Make sure you know your start time and are ready to line up at the starting line before your time to race!
Registration, number plate pick-up, and other info will be at the BikeUtah tent starting at 4:00 pm and will close for ALL racers at 5:15 pm (no exceptions)!
THERE WILL BE NO FREE KIDS RACE AT THIS VENUE.
Park HERE and pick up your number plate at the BikeUtah table/tent.
Parking and Bike Utah tents will all be located up the dirt road in the field between the Cracker Jack trail and OHV-1. This road is passable for all vehicles, but be aware the parking area has some soft spots.
Overflow parking will be at Hidden Hollow Elementary School, and along the paved road (Hidden Valley Parkway). It’s a quick ride/walk from there to the tents and start line. DO NOT park in the construction areas or along any of the OHV/dirt roads.
Make sure you are lined up in your assigned category BEFORE your category start time! All racers in their respective categories will start at the same time!
You MUST start with your assigned category.
Starting with the wrong category or otherwise missing your start time will result in a DQ for the race.
Line up within your category will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
PLEASE READ for all the information on MASS STARTS and START TIMES - You must be lined up and ready to race at the correct time!
If you haven’t raced with us before, read our Racing 101 page
Eagle Mountain Course Maps
Beginner Course:
(1 lap) There will be YELLOW ARROWS at the beginner split indicating the beginner course and a Trail Marshal to guide you along the trail. Follow the flags, the signs, and any instructions from our trail marshals. Study the map beforehand and KNOW YOUR COURSE!
PARENTS OF YOUNGER/NEWER RACERS - please inform your racers of which category they are racing in, and which course they will be riding. Trail marshals or other racers may be able to guide a lost racer, but only if they know which category and course they are supposed to be riding.
Preride the course if you have time! It is your responsibility to know which course you are riding and where you are going!
Have fun out there and watch for other trail users.
PRO/EXPERT/MASTERS/SS/SPORT COURSE:
