For the 1st trail day of the season, we came in force with 22 volunteers strong.
The work was performed under Wasatch Trails Alliance on the Riverview / Coyote trails in Heber, Utah. The day’s work consisted of a 6mile long stretch of newly built called Chopped Coyote, the trail needed some spring time buffing. Cutting a couple downed trees, trimming back branches, lightly armoring up some berms and “sweeping” the trail clean.
Big thanks to Big Rack Shuttle for donating 2 shuttles to help expedite our travel to the work site, and allowing us to enjoy of little of the backside Coyote Loop on the way in (riding Coyote was a first for most of the crew).
Thanks to NAAWK for helping to keep all our volunteers sunburn free.
As an added incentive, all racers received a 50pt bump to their series standings.
