With one of the longer days of the year upon us and one of the more gnar courses coming up next (upper Deer Valley’s Silver Lake) we thought we’d keep the distance up. This should help us transition into the higher altitude and steeper courses a tad more comfortably.
While at the UVU campus, DO NOT ENTER THE BUILDING/SCHOOL, this is unlike previous seasons. This request was part of our venue agreement this season, so please don’t ruin a the op for us to return.
We will resume utilizing the vacant field just south of the school building, off of the dirt road, should the paved lot become full. Please be courteous when parking, ensuring those previously parked can easily exit at their leisure.
Don’t Get Burnt
Should you care to prevent a permanent t-shirt effect, swing by registration table for some courtesy NAAWK sunblock.
Mark Miller Subaru will not be BBQ’n, but will have snacks for purchase. Speaking of snacks, American Federal Credit Union will have ice cold Otter Pops on the scene, to help quench ya after or before racing.
You’ve all heard of clipless and platform pedals, but have you ever you heard of magnetic clipless pedals? You have now, and they’re called Maglock. Come check out a pair of Maglock pedals, literally, we have 2 pairs of demos available for you to try out. Just swing by the Scheels Wrench’n tent and kindly ask one of the bike pros for to set you up with a demo pair of Maglock pedals.
If you pre-paid for the May 24th Round Valley race (that was rained out) we have a race credit on file for you that you can redeem at any of the following races this season, just check-in at the registration table and we’ll get you sorted.
